It's a concept of unparalleled ambition, but that doesn't make it impossible: an enormous solar shade, orbiting between the planet's surface and the sun, cooling the entire planet and allowing us to thin the atmosphere. It will be expensive and it will be difficult, but if successful, it will take our efforts at planetary engineering to a whole new level.
Introduction
The Solar Shade greatly lowers Temperature. Because this facility removes Biomass and Credits, Aerostat Platforms may be a better idea, since they actually generate Credits.
While this is very effective, the aerostat platform may be a better choice than this because solar shades greatly reduces credits.
