Lingering on the outer edge of its solar system, Boreas is the coldest world yet to be targeted for hominization, but you and your crew are ready to land and determined to make this world your home.

Massive polar ice caps cover most of its surface, with only small amounts of exposed land around the equator. Start there, melting the ice as you go, but be careful of the resulting sea level increases!

About[]

Boreas is a fictional planet that is very far away from its host star. It has 3 moons, Zephyrus of size class II (small), Notos of size class I (tiny) and Eurus of size class I (tiny).

Strategy[]

Despite the difficultly rating of 'Medium,' the process is noticeably easier. Remove the pressure to quickly get rid of the 452,946 ppm of oxygen, and then increase the pressure and add oxygen. Alternatively, you can use Carbon Fixers to remove oxygen while increasing pressure. In exception to the Daughters Of Gaia, paradise habitability is not required. Therefore water draining is deemed unnecessary, and flooding is exceedingly rare, simply increase the temperature to approximately 273,150 mK, the freezing point of liquid water, using the Soletta. Be cautious of sea level, because it might increase too rapidly due to Habitation Domes and other facilities that generate water.

It might be possible to use the Soletta to increase both temperature (272,651 mK) and water to paradise levels. Do not use fast-forward while the Soletta is increasing temperature.

Trivia[]

  • It is named after Boreas, the Greek god of the north wind and bringer of winter.
  • Zephyrus is the Greek god of the west wind.
  • Notus was the Greek god of the south wind.
  • Eurus  according to some was the southeast wind, but according to others the East wind.
